Volunteer Hub Co-ordinator with VSI Alliance

We are recruiting for 2 exciting new posts! Be part of the VSI Alliance team that’s supporting Calderdale charities & community groups who are, in turn, making such a vital difference to local people.

Could you be the person to help connect local volunteers to those who need support in challenging times?

£24,204 per annum, 37 hours per week

Do you have:

  • Previous experience of managing people and an enthusiasm for connecting people?
  • Energy and enthusiasm to work with organisations to help build resilience in our communities?
  • A flexible and adaptive attitude to community challenges?
  • Great organisational skills and a good head for data management?

We are looking to recruit a Co-ordinator who will lead on the Volunteer Hub activities through the pandemic and beyond. The post will look to respond to future challenges including further lockdowns and possible local flooding incidents. Responding to requests for support from individuals, families and community anchors, our Co-ordinator will link volunteers to specific tasks, follow up afterwards and collate all data about the support.

Our Co-ordinator will have previous experience of assisting in the delivery of training and of being part of developing new initiatives as and when required.

Working as part of a wider voluntary and community sector infrastructure support service, this will be an integral post, supporting the continuation of the Volunteer Hub for the future. This role is part of a wider voluntary and community sector infrastructure support service, working closely with Calderdale Council, Public Health and Council Volunteer Managers.
