Marketing and Communications Officer – Pennine Magpie

Contract: Permanent

Hours:  37.5 hours per week

Salary: £21,693-£24657 per annum

Pennine Magpie is a charitable company that has been supporting adults with learning disabilities in Calderdale for the past 20 years and is a dynamic, fun and friendly learning environment.

The loyal staff team are experienced and highly trained in a variety of skills and disciplines which enables them to offer a wide range of daily activities to meet service users’ individual needs. The focus is on person-centred planning to enable service users to grow and live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Pennine Magpie is in an exciting phase of our organisational development and are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Officer to help to achieve strategic objectives.

About You
You will have:

  • Relevant degree level qualification or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed written communication skills
  • Able to use creative Adobe, Microsoft or similar programs
  • Strong IT and website skills
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
  • Have a proactive, energetic, professional and thorough approach to work and project delivery
