This is an exciting opportunity to continue to work towards making Calderdale more dementia-friendly. The role includes consulting people with dementia and carers on their priorities and promoting better understanding of dementia across communities. In creating more dementia-friendly communities we aim to promote independence for people living with dementia.

About you:

A key skill required will be the ability to build relationships with and invite businesses, civic organisations, community organisations, local groups, health and social care providers to join a dementia-friendly community and support them in the process.

Excellent organisational skills and experience of working with statutory and voluntary agencies will be of benefit.
